Priorities

Yesterday, I spent about $75 to prepare lunch for my colleagues at work in honor of my recent promotion. Everyone who ate makes a good salary with benefits, and has a good home.

This morning, I spent $5 to buy food for a homeless guy at the subway, probably the most I've spent on individual charity in three years or more.

Why do I feel like I need to rethink my priorities?

Give yourself some more credit. You have actually given much more than that to an individual in the last year or so. Not all support and charity is monetary.
Thanks!
